Congress for Urbanism in Turkey
In addition to Town Planning Day meetings which have been held every year since 1977, various conventions concerning several issues closely related to town planning are organized in Turkey. Town planners, local governors and lots of people from different professions benefited from the share of experiences here. In this study, I will mention the history of World Town Planning Day meetings in Turkey. The Turkey Town Planning congresses which are organized as an activity on the World Town Planning Day are reviewed, before the issues that had been discussed in the Habitat II summit are reminded.
